Bethany K. Terry started at Einstein in the Fall of 2022 after completing her PhD at Temple University. As a postdoc in Dr. Julie Secombe’s lab in the department of Genetics, Bethany studies the role of KDM5C in neurodevelopment using both a Drosophila and cerebral organoid model. She is also very interested in higher education and is a BETTR scholar through Einstein’s IRACDA/K12 funded program (https://www.einsteinmed.edu/research/bettr-iracda/).
Outside of the lab, Bethany enjoys growing different types of succulents, crafting, and visiting other people's cats.
As a social media committee member, Bethany is working to update the EPA website and handbook. She looks forward to any suggestions that you might have, so send her an email!
